Congratulations to Bendigo Health employees Sharon Wakeham and Kylie Ayres), on receiving the Fundraising & Foundation Non-clinical Education Scholarship Fund for 2022.
The annual Scholarships are provided to non-clinical employees wishing to upskill and enhance their individual career path, whether it’s through further education or a change in career within the organisation.
On behalf of both of the recipients, Sharon thanked Bendigo Health Fundraising and Foundation for this fantastic opportunity, saying it was her aim to continue to learn more about the Healthcare Industry and develop her existing skills by completing Certificate III in Health Administration.
“With recognised training, I will be able to make improvements personally and professionally to help achieve my career goals and have more to offer the wider community when the time comes to further my medical administration career. I am excited to get started and I look forward to continuing my professional journey with Bendigo Health.” said Sharon.
Kylie is also very appreciative for the opportunity to advance her skills and career. “I am using the scholarship to study and gain a Certificate in Human Resources Management. Completing this course will help give me the knowledge and qualifications I will need to gain employment in Human Resources within Bendigo Health. This is an area I have been interested in since starting my career in Administration. I am so grateful I can finally take a step closer to achieving my goal.” said Kylie.
The annual Scholarship Fund is made possible thanks to the generosity of our community and funds generated through Bendigo Health’s Fundraising & Foundation Department.
