The generosity of our community allows Bendigo Health Fundraising & Foundation department to proudly fund a huge range of projects, iniatives and pieces of equipment and it is often the “little things” that create big impact, along with important equipment to support vital healthcare.
As part of National Close the Gap Day in March this year, Bendigo Health launched its Reconciliation Action Plan which formalises Bendigo Health’s ongoing commitment to reconciliation.
The 24 page plan features a stunning artwork and layout produced by Karen Briggs (Yorta Yorta) from KLB CREATIVE. This artwork was proudly funded by the Fundraising & Foundation department.
Karen is a Yorta Yorta woman, whose ancestral homeland radiates from the junction of the Goulburn and Murray Rivers in North East Victoria. Karen is particularly skilled at creating hand drawn Aboriginal contemporary illustrations and then transforming them into the computer environment using her Wacom board, resulting in vibrant, colourful designs for promotional materials.
