This Christmas, your donation will help build a nature-based play space to engage children and help make their therapy more enjoyable.
Help us create an all abilities outdoor playground for our paediatric patients to use during their rehabilitation sessions and to be available whenever they just want to play.
Helping children from our region
More than 100 children are treated by Bendigo Health’s rehabilitation services at any one time.
Two-thirds of the children receiving rehabilitation at Bendigo Health have cerebral palsy – a permanent condition with no known cure.
To support their rehabiliation therapy, we are funding the build of an all abilities outdoor play space as part of the redevelopment of the Clinical Services Campus on Lucan Street, a place to use during therapy session and other times when they just wish to play.
Chloe and Amelia
16 month old Chloe has up to 4 appointments every week across various services to encourage movement skills such as sitting, walking, playing, dressing and toileting.
Amelia is a cheeky, gorgeous 6 year old who loves playing with her brother and her friends in prep. She has had extensive rehabilitation therapy at Bendigo Health since she was 10 months old.
Every donation to this year’s Bendigo Health Christmas Appeal will support the development of our paediatric rehabilitation outpatients play space to help kids rehab and recover.
Need a gift for loved one? This Christmas we’ve created an e-card for you to personalise to let your favourite person know that you’ve made a donation to support local kids on their behalf.
