A children's rehabilitation play space for Bendigo Health was imagined two years ago to enhance the Clinical Services Campus which has been part of the redevelopment of the former hospital site on Lucan Street.

Bendigo Health’s Fundraising & Foundation department has worked hard to raise the funds needed. We kick-started the fundraising through last year’s Christmas Appeal and, combined with other philanthropic support, we have raised almost $300,000 towards the $635,421 capital project.

Designed by the award-winning Jeavons Landscape Architects, the specialised nature-based play space will serve as an outdoor extension of the rehabilitation services available to children through the Victorian Paediatric Rehabilitation Service at Bendigo Health. Many of these children require rehabilitation over many years as they recover from injury and illness.

We are excited to present the artists impression of how the space will be developed to help kids rehab and recover.
