Yesterday I had the pleasure of attending the launch of the 2024 Move for Mental Health fundraiser and listened to some truly inspiring stories of how the funds we have raised over the past three years has helped those in our community who have a mental illness. Even tonight when I was leaving work, I noticed the light was on in our Mental Health gym at the hospital and when I went in, here was our Exercise Physiologist providing a boxing session for a patient who had an urgent request as a coping strategy, and all this occurred after our EP had technically finished work. This is a great example of how the funds we have raised are used to help our patients/consumers.Please share our page with your friends and help us to raise our goal of $7000. Our team from the Older Persons Unit has been and will continue to fundraise so we can continue these great services/programs for as long as we can.
