Tomorrow will be 10 years since a midwife, anaesthetist, obstetrician and paediatrician (supported by a team of wonderful people) worked together to save Henry's life.
Often I say luck was on our side that day, but it was really us benefiting from the dedication, skill and team work of this group of people who all played an integral part in achieving an incredible outcome. One which is beyond what we let ourselves hope for in the days following, but we were always so grateful our baby had made it through.
Each yeah we say thank you and make a donation. But this year (like we did when Henry turned 1 and then 5) we are making a bit if a fuss by setting up a fundraiser for the Bendigo Health Foundation, to support the special care unit and women's ward.
